    Apryl ClarkApryl Clark is the chief of staff at the National Quality Forum (NQF). She assists the president and CEO with overseeing NQF activities.

    Apryl has more than 15 years of experience in healthcare and policy. Before joining NQF, she served as acting chief risk officer for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) Services, overseeing the agency’s risk management practices and mitigation strategies. She held several roles at CMS over eight years, including as director of the Office of Legislation’s Audit Management Group. Prior to that, Apryl served as legislative assistant for Sen. Frank Lautenberg (NJ), advising him on a broad range of healthcare issues as Congress shaped the Affordable Care Act.

    Apryl has a Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in General Business Administration from Michigan State University.
