Project:
NQF hosted a public webinar that focused on exploring systems or approaches that
are currently used or maintained for gathering, storing and accessing measure
information. The webinar featured presentations from five organizations about
the systems and approaches they have developed and use to track healthcare
measures. Each group shared their practices and processes for managing
measure information.
The following organizations presented on the webinar: Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality/ECRI Institute; Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services/Health Services Advisory Group; The Joint Commission; Kaiser Permanente; and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Project Short Description:
HHS has contracted with the National Quality Forum (NQF) to explore key issues and considerations for a single system or approach to gathering, storing, and accessing measure information. In its role as a neutral convener, NQF will gather perspectives and information from any interested stakeholders across the quality measurement enterprise. The information gathered through this process will be publicly available for review and use by any individual or organization.
