MAP Coordinating Committee In-Person Meeting 

The MAP Coordinating Committee will meet in-person on August 14-15, 2012. At this meeting, the Coordinating Committee will finalize the 3-year MAP Strategic Plan and initial families of measures for safety, care coordination, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. The Coordinating Committee will also review HHS’ uptake of MAP’s recommendations in 2012 proposed rules.  

In addition, MAP will hold a special session on the use of readmission measures on the morning of August 15. During this session, MAP will develop a coordinated strategy for implementation of readmission measures in the context of care coordination and shared accountability. 
 

As for all MAP meetings, the Coordinating Committee meeting is open to NQF members and the public. We respectfully request that you register so we can adequately anticipate the number of seats and dial-in lines needed. An agenda and materials will be posted prior to the meeting.
