CDP Process Improvements

As a part of our commitment to an efficient CDP process and ensuring that the endorsed measures and practices remain important, scientifically acceptable, usable and feasible, we are proposing the following revisions and additions:

  • Enhancements to the nine-step CDP process
  • Addition of “inactive” endorsement status based on measures that have achieved the highest level of performance, yet still meet the remaining measure evaluation criteria
  • eMeasure review process and timeline
  • Guidance on competing measures and selection of the best measure

These changes were discussed by the Consensus Standards Approval Committee (CSAC) at the March 2011 meeting. Prior to putting forward these recommendations to the NQF Board of Directors, we sought input from NQF members and the public.
