NQF Statement on the Senate Finance Committee’s Development of Medicare Chronic Care Policy 

"NQF applauds the Senate Finance Committee's efforts to develop bipartisan legislation to reduce the costs and improve the quality of care for the vast majority of Medicare beneficiaries who have multiple chronic conditions. Performance measurement is the bedrock for many of the changes sought by the Committee to improve chronic care, as measurement can help drive better coordination of care, improve care transitions, and foster more efficient processes. We are pleased to provide input on this critical policyand look forward to the implementation of future legislation."
