The Coordinating Committee and all the advisory workgroups met via web meeting on May 13, 2011. The purpose of the web meeting was to introduce the workgroups to the MAP project, build understanding of the workgroup charges, and review the readmissions and HACs issues.

The public commenting period for the Measure Applications Partnership Coordination Strategy for Healthcare-Acquired Conditions and Readmissions Across Public and Private Payers draft report is now closed. Members and the public closed on September 12, 2011.

On October 1, 2011, the Measure Applications Partnership submitted the following report to HHS.

The MAP pre-rulemaking draft report commenting period is now closed. This draft report presents the MAP pre-rulemaking input to HHS on measures under consideration for 2012 federal rulemaking for public reporting and performance-based payment programs.

MAP released its input to HHS on February 1, 2012. In addition to providing input to HHS on measures under consideration for nearly twenty federal programs, the front end of the report provides the framework for aligned performance measurement that the MAP used to support its decision making and explains why alignment is important.
