Together with the National Health Care Purchasing Institute (NHCPI) and support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, NQF convened an invitation-only workshop of hospital decision-makers, purchasers, and consumers to address the question, "What would be required to get the NQF-endorsed™ performance measures implemented and the results disclosed?" The meeting was held in February 2003, at the historic Wye River Conference Center in Queenstown, Maryland.
