Health IT Advisory Committee (HITAC)
Current Activity: The Call for Nominations closed on Thursday, February 18, 2010.
The Health IT Advisory Committee (HITAC) is a standing committee of the NQF Board of Directors. The committee, approved by the Board of Directors in 2009, provides specific expertise on NQF’s Health IT projects.
Charge of HITAC
- developing a strategic plan and providing ongoing guidance for NQF’s Health IT portfolio;
- offering input on Health IT projects, such as maintenance of the Quality Data Set and specification of testing requirements for eMeasures;
- reviewing electronic specifications for NQF-endorsed® and candidate standards; and
- making recommendations on the endorsement and maintenance of Health IT-related consensus standards.
