Notice to Members: Appeal Period Ending

NQF endorsed two hospital readmission measures as part of a project to identify and endorse measures suitable for both public accountability and quality improvement related to outcomes and efficiency of hospital care.  The two endorsed measures aim to assess 30-day readmission rates for acute myocardial infarction and pneumonia.  Any party may request reconsideration of the recommendations by notifying NQF in writing via e-mail no later than November 26.
