The purpose of this project is to achieve voluntary consensus on a comprehensive framework and a set of preferred practices and performance measures for therapeutic drug management. This project will also make recommendations regarding priority areas for research and standards development where there are gaps. In October 2007, the Steering Committee reviewed the therapeutic drug management framework and a set of 20 preferred practices, and is recommending the framework and practices for NQF endorsement.
The five Technical Advisory Panels assisted NQF staff in the development of the framework and in evaluating the candidate practices against the NQF practice evaluation criteria of effectiveness, generalizability, benefit, and readiness.
Pursuant to the Consensus Development Process, the draft document, along with the accompanying material, is being provided for purposes of review and comment only—not voting. You may post your comments and view the comments of others using the navigation menu at the left.
NQF will post and take into consideration only those comments received by the above deadline(s). NQF reserves the right to identify and remove any objectionable content. NQF is not responsible for the views and opinions expressed in posted comments.
