• NQF has a long tradition of inviting Members to lead stakeholder and engagement efforts. Our volunteer leaders call on a supportive staff as they lead efforts to improve ways Members can engage in NQF’s work.

    Volunteers exercise leadership in supporting the Consensus Development Process and reaching out to NQF Members on initiatives that need specific stakeholder input:

    • Carefully review measures that have not reached consensus and identify issues of particular interest/concern to stakeholders;
    • Promote participation by working with staff to share materials, frame the issues, and encourage participation.

    Member leaders advise NQF and the membership department by:

    • Serving as the voice of membership as staff plans Member programming;
    • Helping ideate, plan, and host Member engagement activities.
