Why Join?

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the NQF.

The NQF was founded on the belief that improvements in healthcare quality can be best made by bringing together public and private organizations in discussions of healthcare quality.

In that vein, we invite you to join the NQF.

Members receive a number of benefits through their active involvement in the organization including:

  • A voice in shaping NQF policies and responses to programmatic assignments through your participation in the Member Council and their representation on the Board of Directors
  • Regular, advance updates on NQF activities
  • Access to the Member’s-only website
  • Attendance at Member’s-only programs and meetings
  • Advance copies of reports, white papers and other documents
  • The opportunity to work with other healthcare and community leaders to develop solutions to quality weakness

NQF members include more than 350 consumer, provider, purchaser and research organizations. With its broad-based and inclusive membership, public-private nature, open decision-making and consensus processes—as well as a lack of any interest other than promoting the public good—the NQF is in a unique position to lead the push toward better quality.
