Please join us for a member briefing on measure risk adjustment by socioeconomic status and demographic factors. During this 90-minute virtual event, NQF Chief Scientific Officer Helen Burstin will provide an overview of this topic and next steps for NQF in leading this extremely important national discussion. Ann Greiner, Vice President for Public Affairs will explain the policy drivers surrounding the conversation. This session will include presentations and a question and answer period.
What will participants learn?
By the end of this session, participants will:
- Have a basic understanding of measure risk adjustment by SES and other demographic factors.
- Understand the current policy drivers influencing changes to performance measurement by risk adjustment for SES.
- Know what NQF is doing to address risk adjustment by SES, and why.
Who should participate?
Healthcare industry professionals and/or patient advocates with a basic understanding of performance measurement. An understanding of risk adjustment is not necessary to participate.
