What is “quality” in healthcare and how does it work? How and why do we measure quality? Where do NQF member organizations, and NQF, fit in?
Please join us for a dynamic virtual presentation featuring Brendan Mullen, Vice President at National Quality Forum on November 18 at 3:30pm ET. During this 60-minute session, Brendan will review the basics of quality improvement and the key drivers influencing change. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions and feedback.
What will participants learn?
By the end of this session, participants will:
- Understand the key components of quality improvement, and how they relate to each other.
- Understand the overall purpose and role of measurement in quality improvement.
- Know where their organization and NQF fit into quality improvement.
Who should participate?
Healthcare industry professionals who have expertise in their field, but not in-depth technical knowledge about performance measurement or quality improvement. This session is ideal for people looking to understand the “big picture” of quality. All members are welcome.
Attendance at this event is a benefit for NQF members; therefore, participants must be affiliated with a member organization to register. If your organization is not yet a member, but considering joining NQF, please contact Camille Smith, Director, Member Education on csmith@qualityforum.org to attend this event as a special preview of membership.
