• Helen Darling is President and CEO of the National Business Group on Health, the nation's only non-profit organization devoted exclusively to representing large employers' perspective on national health policy and providing solutions to its members' most important health care problems. Currently the chair of the NQF Board of Directors, Darling has been a member of NQF for more than a decade, serving on NQF-convened committees and workgroups, including chairing the National Priorities Partnership (NPP) with Dr. Bernard Rosof. The NPP helped to inform development of the nation's first ever National Quality Strategy.

    Darling has been involved in multiple creative and successful efforts to improve healthcare quality, including as a major purchaser of health benefits and disability for 55,000 employees at Xerox Corporation, as an advisor to Sen. David Durenberger on the Health Subcommittee of the Senate Finance Committee and as the director of three Institute of Medicine studies .
