National Voluntary Consensus Standards for Nursing Home Care
The primary purpose of these NQF-endorsed voluntary consensus standards is to provide information to help consumers select nursing home care facilities, although they also may be used by nursing homes for internal quality improvement efforts and by discharge planners, physicians, Quality Improvement Organizations, purchasers, policymakers, researchers, and state survey and certification personnel for their various purposes.
