Identifying Gaps in Specialty Physician Performance Measurement 

In order to advance the development and adoption of clinician-level performance measurement for general clinicians and specialty areas, a review of the measures currently endorsed by NQF was conducted. This report indicates the areas in which future measure development and endorsement is needed and identifies areas for which harmonization of current measures is necessary. Finally, this report presents a discussion of the challenges and limitations involved in the development and implementation of clinician-level measures.
