Child Health Quality Measures 2010Abstract
Child health quality is an important but underemphasized
area of measure development and endorsement. To achieve quality healthcare
across a full continuum of conditions, settings, populations, and structures of
care, there is a need for additional measures that specifically address child
health. In 2010, NQF launched the Child Health Quality Measures project at the
request of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and endorsed 44
quality measures.
