MAP Pre-Rulemaking Report: Input on Measures Under Consideration by HHS for 2012 Rulemaking 

In February 2012, the Measure Applications Partnership (MAP) evaluated an extensive list of measures under consideration by HHS for use in clinician, hospital, and post-acute care/long-term care performance measurement programs in 2012. The resulting report – the MAP Pre-Rulemaking Report – is the first annual review of performance measures being considered for use in federal rulemaking, and indicates one of the following three conclusions for each measure or measure concept: support the measure; support the direction of the measure; or do not support the measure.
