Abstract
NQF convened the National Quality Task Force, a large, highly diverse group of experts, to reflect on the most promising opportunities to improve healthcare so that every person in every community can consistently and predictably receive high quality care by 2030. The Care We Need puts forth recommendations with five strategic objectives and ten actionable opportunities to align stakeholders to support a common vision and way forward to make America’s healthcare safer and better for every person. Additionally, the report provides a roadmap with interim measures of success so that every person, every time, everywhere experiences appropriate, safe, person-centered care by 2030.
