Date of Publication:
SEP 2021
Associated Project:
Patient Experience and Function
Abstract
The implementation of patient-centered measures is one of the most important approaches to ensuring that healthcare in the United States reflects the goals, preferences, and values of care recipients. Capturing patient experience and satisfaction is a hallmark of patient-centered measurement, which is especially important for vulnerable populations. During the Fall 2020 measure evaluation cycle, the NQF Patient Experience and Function Standing Committee was convened to review two measures for NQF endorsement. The Standing Committee evaluated and recommended one measure for NQF endorsement and did not recommend the other measure.
