Behavioral Health Final Report - Spring 2022 Cycle 

Behavioral health and substance use disorders refer to a variety of mental, behavioral, and addictive disorders ranging from mood and anxiety disorders to substance use disorders to post-traumatic stress disorder and beyond. In this portfolio, NQF endorsed measures focus on treatment services, risk assessments and screenings, and care and medication management for individuals at risk of or suffering from these disorders. In the Spring 2022 cycle, the NQF Behavioral Health and Substance Use (BHSU) Standing Committee was convened to evaluate measures of depression screening, response, and remission; follow-up care for medication management; and continuity of care for withdrawal management. Four measures were endorsed by the Standing Committee and the Consensus Standards Approval Committee (CSAC) in this cycle of work.
