2015 John M. Eisenberg Award Winner: Pascale Carayon, PhDThe National Quality Forum (NQF) has awarded the 2015 John M. Eisenberg Patient Safety and Quality Award for Individual Achievement to Pascale Carayon, PhD, the Procter & Gamble Bascom Professor in Total Quality in the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.

Pascale has advanced the field of patient safety and quality using human factors engineering concepts and methods. Hundreds of healthcare professionals have learned to improve patient safety using the Systems Engineering Initiative for Patient Safety model. NQF spoke recently with Pascale about her work and the Eisenberg award.
