NQF Invites Members to Submit Next-Generation Innovator Abstracts

NQF members are invited to submit abstracts of their success stories to improve the quality of care for the communities they serve. Next-Generation Innovator Abstract submissions are open exclusively to NQF members through February 23, 2018.

This brand-new offering gives NQF Members the opportunity to showcase innovative and novel initiatives to improve quality. Winners will be invited to share their work with more than 500 executives and thought leaders during NQF’s must-attend 2018 Annual Conference.

“NQF is deeply committed to improving the quality of care for all Americans,” said Shantanu Agrawal, MD, MPhil, president and CEO of the National Quality Forum. “As an emergency department physician, I know how central quality improvement is to our work to care for patients in the clinic, in the hospital, and in the community. The Next-Generation Innovator Abstracts gives our Members the opportunity to share their success stories to advance quality at the frontlines of care.”

NQF encourages Members to submit abstracts about novel and innovative approaches to advance the quality of patient care, including patient and family engagement, social determinants of health, patient-reported outcomes, and organizational efficiencies and design. These approaches may be part of current practice or under development.

  • Abstracts should describe how this work:
  • Makes healthcare better and safer;
  • Brings best practices and data to bear to solve a pressing health or healthcare challenge;
  • Propels novel and innovative approaches into the forefront of care.

To apply, submit an abstract by Friday, February 23, 2018. Submissions should include a title, the names and titles of proposed speakers, and an abstract (200 words maximum). NQF encourages individuals as well as teams to apply.

Accepted presenters must register for NQF’s Annual Conference and cover all travel and expenses to attend the conference March 12-13 in Washington, DC.
