• Reduction in hospital acquired infections. Improving health plan performance. Reducing hospital readmissions. Improving maternity care. Safer nursing care. Just a few real-world results that demonstrate how the quality community has improved health and health care in the United States.

NQF has been a contributor to these successes through its 400-plus members and its multiple partnerships over our relatively short 15-year history. We will celebrate these achievements as part of our 2014 NQF "15 Years and Counting" anniversary campaign.

Launching with our newly designed homepage, the 15-year anniversary campaign will showcase 10 high leverage measures, five leading accomplishments and five future challenges. Featured member profiles will show the breadth and depth of our membership as well as showcase their quality efforts at NQF and at their own institutions and organizations. Through this campaign, we will reach out to our ongoing supporters and partners as well as new audiences to help advance understanding of NQF, the value our work brings to healthcare, and the exciting ways in which we are changing to meet the challenges we face today and tomorrow.

Join our 15th-year anniversary celebration and share with us at NQFresults@qualityforum.org your stories of quality improvement in the weeks and months to come.
