Sheri S. McCoy, MBA, is worldwide chairman of the Pharmaceuticals Group, and a member of Johnson & Johnson's Executive Committee.
Ms. McCoy began her career at Johnson & Johnson as an associate scientist in research and development and advanced through positions of increasing responsibility within the organization. In 2008, Ms. McCoy was appointed worldwide chairman at Surgical Care Group. She was responsible for surgical care franchises such as: Ethicon, Inc., Ethicon Endo-Surgery, and DePuy. She was also responsible for medical devices and diagnostics organizations in Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia Pacific region.
Among her community and professional associations, Ms. McCoy serves as a board member of FIRST, a non-profit organization created to inspire young people's interest and participation in science and technology. She is a member of the Rutgers University President's Business Leaders Cabinet, and vice president of the Montgomery Township Education Foundation. Ms. McCoy holds four U.S. patents.
Ms. McCoy received a BS degree from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, a master’s degree from Princeton University, and an MBA from Rutgers University.
