NQF staff led an interactive 90-minute session focused on the Measure Authoring Tool’s (MAT) key features and functionalities, as well as the MAT’s importance in advancing electronic measure (eMeasure) development. Furthermore, participants learned how to create an eMeasure using the MAT and identify questions to consider before creating an eMeasure.
Learning Objectives
This virtual forum:
- Explained what the MAT is and show how it works;
- Emphasized its purpose, importance, and it’s anticipated impact on performance measurement and quality improvement;
- Discussed how the Quality Data Model (QDM) supports the MAT in eMeasure development;
- Explained what information in the MAT can be shared across users; and
- Highlighted anticipated future functionality and the general timeline for new releases.
