NQF Statement: Dr. Christine Cassel and Four Other NQF Board Members Named to Modern Healthcare’s 2014 List of Most Influential Physicians


National Quality Forum President and CEO, Christine Cassel, MD, has been named among the 50 Most Influential Physician Executives in Healthcare for 2014 for the second year in a row. Joining Dr. Cassel on the list are four members of the NQF Board of Directors.

NQF board members included on the list are Patrick Conway, MD, deputy administrator for innovation and quality, chief medical officer, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services; Thomas R. Frieden, MD, MPH, director, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; Ardis D. Hoven, MD, president,  American Medical Association; and Bruce Siegel, MD, MPH, President and CEO, America’s Essential Hospitals.
