Abstract
The report details a framework for palliative and hospice care, intended to serve as a foundation upon which a quality measurement and reporting system should be built. The report also discusses a set of preferred practices designed to improve palliative and hospice care. Both the framework and the preferred practices were endorsed by NQF in 2006.
