Infectious Disease Endorsement Maintenance 

Many infectious diseases have been controlled or eradicated through the use of vaccines and advanced medicine, yet many others are still responsible for widespread morbidity and mortality as well as rising healthcare costs. NQF’s infectious disease endorsement maintenance project sought to identify and endorse performance measures that specifically address such disease. This report details the measures reviewed during the project, including 16 endorsed measures focused on screening and treatment for infectious diseases.
