The National Quality Forum (NQF) is a not-for-profit, nonpartisan, membership-based organization that addresses the most important structural issues upstream and downstream of our nation’s portfolio of healthcare quality measures—advancing the next generation of measures and practices and scaling their implementation to achieve impact.
Today’s quality measures cannot deliver the quality care needed for all. We need a new generation of measures that align with outcomes that matter to patients and clinicians, fill high-priority gaps for payors, purchasers, and providers, and are ready for immediate implementation. NQF brings diverse stakeholders together to develop national priorities for effective quality measures that will dramatically improve healthcare and deliver greater value to the nation.
