Overview
NQF’s Leadership Consortium brings together multistakeholder leaders from our member organizations to collaborate in a two-phased approach:
- Phase 1: Prioritizing areas for action—Leadership Consortium members convene over a six-month period to examine emergent issues in healthcare. Members will identify one topic for prioritization and determine actionable recommendations that can be adopted by a variety of stakeholders.
- Phase 2: Implementation Collaborative—A subset of the Leadership Consortium members will continue their participation in the 12-month Implementation Collaborative to pilot the opportunities for action identified during phase 1. Members of the Implementation Collaborative will come together in a series of meetings to discuss their progress in implementing strategies and to identify solutions for challenges that arise. Phase 1 Leadership Consortium members who do not participate in the Implementation Collaborative will have the opportunity to listen in to these meetings and learn about the progress of the pilot. A summary of findings from the Implementation Collaborative will be shared with the public.
Through this process, NQF’s Leadership Consortium continues to advance quality measurement to aid overcoming today’s top healthcare challenges.
