NQF staff and eMeasure Learning Collaborative Planning Committee members led a 90 minute session providing an overview of and presenting summary findings from the report titled: Advancing the Adoption, Implementation, and Use of eMeasures.

eMeasure Learning Collaborative In-Person Meeting: Advancing Solutions for eMeasure Implementation

On Friday, September 21, 2012, NQF held the second in-person meeting of the eMeasure Learning Collaborative, Advancing Solutions for eMeasure Implementation. This second meeting consisted of three panels: Condition/Problem Management, Medication Management and Data Visibility: Essential Elusive Elements, and, as with the first meeting in April 2012, provided a forum for sharing knowledge on the development and implementation of eMeasures across all domains of healthcare. This meeting was held at NQF.

The meeting aimed to: 

1. Advance knowledge and paractice related to the development and implementation of eMeasures across settings of healthcare;
2. Drive greater uptake of eMeasures and movement toward use of an electronic platform for quality measurement;
3. Promote awareness, provide education, and enable understanding of best practices with eMeasure implementation across various healthcare settings; and,
4. Allow knowledge sharing between all stakeholders involved in quality and performance measurements thereby expediting advancement in electronic quality measurement.

NQF Staff and eMeasure experts from the provider and implementer community lead an interactive 90-minute webinar and open discussion. This free webinar provided information related to the eMeasure implementation within small practices (e.g. physicians, private practices, and clinics).
