As part of the National Quality Forum's (NQF) Health Equity Program, NQF will continue to examine inclusion of social risk factors in risk adjustment models. This work will build on guidance from the Risk Adjustment for Socioeconomic and Other Sociodemographic Factors project that ended in August 2014 as well as the findings from NQF’s initial trial period for social risk adjustment that ended in April 2017. The respective Standing Committees will review measures for adequate risk adjustment as part of their endorsement review. The measure list under the materials section has information on all measures received and the project where they will be reviewed. Read more
